Each branch and leaf is meticulously animated individually, employing techniques such as tapered strokes, trim paths, and movements along defined paths. In contrast, a novice animator might resort to a simplistic approach, applying scale property animation to the entire plant image, or at most, to individual elements. I know the difference isn't that big but if it's a more complex tree with more branches and leaves the difference increases exponentially.
