Hello guys! When accelerating, whether in motion or at a standstill, a gas leak noise may be heard. In this very common case, it is an exhaust gas leak due to warping of the exhaust manifold. To do the job correctly and lastingly, you must remove the exhaust manifold, which in this case incorporates the turbo. The studs and nuts have to be new, replace the exhaust gasket and most importantly, have the exhaust manifold machined or rebuilt by a specialist!
At the same time, the gaskets and seals that connect the turbo lubrication lines to the engine must be replaced.
In this video I also show you how to remove the broken studs that so often get stuck in the cylinder head. Several extraction methods are shown here in this example.
