If you are in Karya, the mountain village, and you are thinking of getting to the first beach as soon as possible, the best option is Agios Nikitas.
The road is spectacular and offers dreamy views. It is relatively short, but very sharp. The smell of mountain plants will pleasantly surprise you, the yellow flowers, present everywhere add a beautiful spot of color.
Agios Nikitas has a small sandy beach, but it can be very crowded in high season, so I recommend Milos beach, which can be reached by watertaxi from the village beach, or Kathisma, the huge beach from 3km above ... or below, depending on how you look at the map ...
