ABP News: महिला पहलवान विनेश फोगाट और पहलवान बजरंग पूनिया के कांग्रेस में शामिल होने के बाद से भारतीय कुश्ती महासंघ (WFI) के पूर्व प्रमुख बृजभूषण शरण सिंह दोनों पर लंबे-चौड़े आरोपों की बौछार कर रहे हैं. अब बजरंग पूनिया ने बृजभूषण के बयान पर पलटवार किया है.
बृजभूषण ने कहा था कि अगर विनेश फोगाट के साथ उन्होंने कुछ गलत किया था तो उसी वक्त विनेश को उन्हें थप्पड़ मार देना चाहिए था. इतना लंबा वक्त क्यों लिया. विनेश और बजरंग दोनों कांग्रेस के दीपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा के गेम प्लान पर चल रहे थे. साथ ही बृजभूषण ने पहलवानों के आन्दोलन पर भी सवाल खड़े किए थे.
कांग्रेस पर आरोप लगाने पर बजरंग ने कहा, "हम जंतर-मंतर पर जनवरी में बैठे पिछले साल तो हमने मंच पर किसी भी पार्टी को नहीं आने दिया था. हमारा साफ था कि हम एक आदमी के खिलाफ लड़ रहे हैं. हम इसको राजनीति का मुद्दा नहीं बनाना चाहते हैं. लेकिन जब उस प्रोटेस्ट के बाद हमारी सरकार से बातचीत हुई तो उन्होंने आश्वासन दिया कि हम लोग आपके लिए कुछ करेंगे."
