BGKT WDP4 20086(ARAVALI) in LHF mode, rushes past Shahbad Mohammadpur with the 24 coach load of 12916 Delhi Jn.[DLI]-Ahemadabad Jn.[ADI] Ashram express, This was my first visit to this place, thanks to Dennis bhai for accompanying me.

Ashram express was introduced on 01 August 1997, earlier used to run as MG train, and later continued on the same route as BG train, this train used to get ABR WDM3A loco earlier, but now gets WDP4 locomotive from BGKT shed as its regular link.

It is the fastest non-Rajdhani train between the 2 cities,
12915 covers ADI-NDLS in 15:40hrs at an avg of 59.48kmph
12916 covers NDLS-ADI in 16:20hrs at an avg of 57.43kmph
