Instructions:
Unplug and Cool: Before you begin, ensure the Shark Steam Mop is unplugged and has cooled down to avoid burns.
Remove the Water Tank: Detach the water tank from the steam mop and empty any remaining water.
Inspect the Nozzle: Check for any visible blockages or mineral deposits.
Use a Pin or Needle: Gently insert a pin or needle into the nozzle hole to clear out any obstructions or mineral build-up.
Vinegar Solution: If mineral deposits are stubborn, fill the water tank with a mixture of equal parts distilled white vinegar and water. Plug in and heat the mop until it produces steam. Allow it to steam for a few minutes, then unplug and let it cool.
Rinse Thoroughly: Empty the vinegar solution from the tank and rinse it multiple times with clean water to ensure all vinegar traces are removed.
Clean the Exterior: Wipe down the exterior of the nozzle with a soft, damp cloth to remove any external dirt or residues.
Reassemble and Store: Once everything is clean and dry, reassemble the steam mop and store it in a cool, dry place.
