Witness one half of football in arguably the greatest (and certainly the craziest and most violent) sports game of all time, Mutant League Football, as the Midway Monsters square off against the Psycho Slashers on one of the deadliest fields in the game, the Frozen Waste.

In Mutant League Football, teams are composed of species ranging from Superhumans to Aliens and fields are littered with hazards like rocks, pits, and mines. Players can be killed and lost for the entire duration of the game or even playoffs, and Nasty Audibles (dirty trick plays) can be called to gain an edge over your opponent. If you're feeling particularly naughty, you can even bribe the referee to have him call bogus penalties on the opposing team. That is until they kill him, of course, because in Mutant League Football even the refs are fair game!

If you've always wished there were a sequel to this game, boy do I have some great news for you! Michael Mendheim, the original creator and designer, is working on a spiritual successor called Mutant Football League (notice the slight change in wording).
