In this fantastic 3 hole scratch medal match Im a 7 handicap playing off the back white tees taking on Mr Barlow 13 handicap who gets to play from the forward red tees at the stunning tree lined Forest Pines Golf Course, Lincolnshire. We both played some good & bad golf but still enjoyed this fantastic course.
Opened in 1996 has quickly established itself as a genuine tournament venue. With 27 HOLES 3 loops of 9 THE FOREST, BEECHES & PINES has a similar feel to Woburn & Wentworth with tall evergreen trees & pretty Heather areas. The course itself is now ranked inside the UK and Ireland's top 100, a position it deserves due to both its great condition and stunning layout.
Found amidst nearly 200 acres of tranquil Lincolnshire woodland, Forest Pines feels a million miles away from the real world, but can be easily accessed by car and is just 30-minutes from Lincoln. Well worth a visit for golfers of all abilities for a society day or Golfing break.
