Our changing climate is already having an effect on farming in Europe and that effect is likely to become more pronounced over the coming decade. Organic farming is seen as one way that farmers can both adapt to climate change and also reduce the contribution that agriculture itself makes to the changing climate. Elisabeth Köstinger MEP, a German MEP from the EPP Group, has held a hearing to consider how organic agriculture can help Europe's farmers and consumers address the consequences of climate change.
