I grew some beautiful canna lilies a couple of years ago and saved the seeds from them. I forgot to pull up the rhizomes so I ended up losing the cannas that I had. Now, I've decided that I want to propagate from seed. I'm using the scarification method. I was having trouble keeping the seeds from flying around the dining room so I thought I would check and see what other tools I had to help make this easier. I came across a pair of wire cutters with a hole in the center that the seed fits perfectly in. So, I tried it. I will post an update in 24 hours to see which out of the three types of propagation I have going on is successful.
