Speaker 1: Today we're gonna take a look at the ANL fuse holder for Bulldog winch, ATV, and UTV winches. This works for eight up to four gauge wire, and it works with 200 AMP to 250 AMP fuses. So this is going to allow you to mount your fuse holder next to your battery on your ATV or UTV, and it is going to hold that ANL fuse securely. As you can see we're gonna have the clear housing so we'll be able to see if there's any damage to our fuse or if it's blown and we need to change it. So that's a nice feature there. There's also going to be a small gasket on the inside of the threaded portion there, as well as on the end of our set screw to hold in the wire and the fuse. The rounded end on that metal portion is going to hold the wire as it's going in. There's a small hole ...
screw up in the top. That's where we'll loosen or tighten that set screw to allow our wire to go in. This does require a three millimeter wrench to loosen that up. This is not included with the kit, so you will have to provide that on your own.But as you can see, as you loosen that up, it allows a little space for you to slide that wire in. To mount this up, you'll of course just need to cut your wire at the desired location, strip the insulation back about a half inch on each side, and that's where you'll insert it into the opening there.
And then tighten that screw back down, and that's just going to pinch that wire and hold it firm, and continue our connection. On the other end, that bolt going onto sort of the flat half moon shape, that's where our fuse is going to sit. The same thing for the other side of that. Now typically the fuses that are going to work with this are going to be shaped like you see here. Again, this fuse is not included with this kit, but you're just gonna put the straight end on one side or, really it's more easy to put the curved end on one side. As you can see there's sort of a curved end there.
Put that in place, tighten it down until it's snug. That again uses that three millimeter wrench which you will have to provide on your own. And then that's going to slide through to the other side. Now you'll wanna unthread that keeper there, so that you can push the fuse through and get access to that other screw to tighten it down, to keep everything secure and make sure that it doesn't get jarred out of place. Then once you have that secured, you can put back both of the threaded clear ends. Now another thing to note with the ends there, they do have that little rubber keeper, that red rubber keeper. That's going to allow our wire to go in there, but it's also gonna create a seal around it.
So this medium-sized one is going to be for our six gauge wire. We're gonna have two more. We'll have a smaller one for eight gauge wire, and a larger one for our four gauge wire. So that gives you a couple different options for whatever wire you need to use to get that in there, but make sure that it stays all nice and sealed up.Now as far as the overall dimensions on this, it is going to measure three inches in total by one inch in diameter at that round part of our holder. The mounting flange, that's going to be about an inch and a half wide, and the mounting holes themselves are gonna be about an inch and a quarter center on center. You can also take this out to change out your fuse. Just requires loosening up those two set screws there. Now one more thing to keep in mind with this, to mount the holder itself, there is that little bracket at the bottom with the two holes for mounting screws. Those require an eighth of an inch self-tapping screw. That's what's going to fit in there to attach this. Those are not included with this kit as well, so you will have to provide those on your own.And that's gonna do it for our look at the ANL fuse holder for Bulldog winch ATV and UTV winches.
