For those of you who don’t know, I attended CSU fresh out of high school, summer of 2014. I was convinced to go by my mom and grandmother who are both alumnae.

I almost got kicked out of the summer program (SASA), I partied most of the first semester and in my second semester, I took a big trip and failed most of my classes. After that, I transferred to a community college, got my AA and then transferred and graduated from another great HBCU (Morgan State University). I now have my masters and this was the first homecoming I’ve been to since I was a freshmen. It was good seeing so many old and new faces. Coppin will always be my first home.🫶🏾
