0:21 Take the Test
As you take the test, you should mark off difficult questions and the number you ran out of time on (if applicable).
1:19 Calculate Score and General Trends
Calculate your score timed and untimed (if applicable). This determines whether you need timing or content strategies. Then, look at general trends in your errors such as where they are located (i.e. in one particular passage or in one part of the test).
2:40 Error Analysis
1. Note the test number and the date you took the test.
2. Break down the errors by section.
3. Categorize the question.
4. Write down what you did wrong and why you did it.
5. Write down the correct answer and how to solve it.
9:15 Review Your Error Analyses
Use your error logs to guide what you study. When you feel like you're ready to take the next test, review ALL prior error logs. Then, set a goal for yourself to hold yourself accountable for improving on a certain question type.
