Donjoy OAdjuster knee brace is clinically proven to reduce pain by redistributing load from the painful compartment to the unaffected compartment of the knee reducing articular contact stress and adverse muscle contraction during gait. It is not uncommon to delay surgical intervention for years using the OAdjuster.

Clinical study with dynamic 3D imagining showed that out of the five commercially available OA braces tested, the DonJoy OAdjuster is the ONLY off-the-self OA brace that maintained an adequate of medial OA off loading during gait.
The results suggest great variability in effectiveness for different types of OA braces. Choosing the right OA knee brace with proper fitting is critical for the functional outcome.
