About the Speaker:
Kelly Lange has worked as a breast cancer advocate since her diagnosis with stage I breast cancer at age 32. Kelly joined the METAvivor Board of Directors in 2009 shortly after the organization was founded. During the past 8 years Kelly has served as Grants Coordinator, Vice President, President, and most recently Secretary/Treasurer for the organization. Kelly has worked in Washington, DC and her home state of Maryland to advocate for legislation that is important to the breast cancer community.
Kelly was re-diagnosed stage IV in September 2002, and been treated with trastuzumab for the last 10 years. Prior to her medical retirement in 2006 Kelly worked as a software engineer.
