Today on our 2017 Ford F-150, we're going to be test-fitting the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains with Cam Tighteners, part number TC2228SCAM. Today we're working with tire size 265/70R17. If these chains don't fit your particular tire, double check the size and then go to our Fit Guide to find the proper fit. Also, installing tire chains can be a little tough on the hands, so we recommend you actually wear gloves while you install these. These durable tire chains are made from a manganese/nickel alloy, and have a ladder pattern with the square link design here, and that's going to give you excellent traction on both snow and ice. They also have these cam tensioners, which when tightened will grip it around the tire and eliminate the need for after-market rubber tensioners. When using these chains, you have a maximum speed rating of 30 miles per hour, and this does come with a quantity of two chains.

Before we install the chains onto the tires, we're going to lay them out on the ground like you see here, and we're going to make sure there's no kinks or anything like that in the line before we install them. Another thing I'd like to point out is to make sure that all the tighteners are in their loosened positions, and that this end of the hook is facing away from the tire. Next we'll set them over our tire, or drape them over our tire, making sure they're sitting on as evenly as possible with the cams facing the outside. Next we'll go to the inside of the tire and make our connections there. We'll take our hook end with our lengths, go as far as we can on this end. Then we'll go back around to the front and make our connections there.

We'll take our end here, place it through our links, bring it back up front and hook it in like so. Now, you'll see that it's a little loose still. Next we'll take our included tool and tighten down some of our cams to really snug it up around the tire. We'll just twist like so, tighten down as many we can, until it's completely snug. Now, you will notice that we didn't get all the cam tighteners tightened down.

That is not a necessity. Just enough, again, to keep it nice and snug around the tire. There you have it for the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chain with Cam Tighteners, on our 2017 Ford F-150.
