Recipe for making Galette Bretonne:

125 g (4.4 oz) butter
55 g (1.9 oz) sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
30 g (1.1 oz) egg yolk
½ tablespoon rum
125 g (4.4 oz) flour
80 g (2.8 oz) almond powder
¼ teaspoon baking powder
egg yolk for brushing
roll out about 1 cm (0.4 inches) thick
cut ⌀5 cm (2 inches) round
170℃ (338 ℉) 20min.
remove the rings and continue baking for 15min.
