Timelapse of our road trip from Boston, Massachusetts to Chicago, Illinois in 4K. We made this trip during the summer of 2021, which had a distance of 1,075 miles (1,730 kilometers), which we did in about 20 hours.
This was probably one of the most (if not THE most) difficult drive that we have ever done. We did not expect to not sleep until the next morning and the Ohio/Indiana portion had a lot of construction going on here and there, which was sometimes hard to navigate in the middle of the night. The sunrise portion (see 3:54:04) was the most rewarding event that I can remember, where after driving for so long, we were seeing the end of the tunnel. I would highly encourage doing this trip with at least another person so that one can drive when the other needs some rest.
