With the ice finally gone, I set off again with my 4 dogs into the backcountry. We had 2 river systems to descend and ascend to reach a lake that was rumoured to have some of the wildest lake trout action around. The rumours proved true. Not only that, but I hooked into some of the best walleye and brook trout fishing of my life as well. Not all of the days were filmed, but the spirit and story of the journey was captured and condensed into this video. Enjoy!
