In 2016 a joint team from British Divers Marine Life Rescue and IFAW travelled to Iceland to attempt to disentangle a humpback whale that had been around for several days. The team carried out a successful operation that took a huge amount of planning, organisation and physical effort, and this video summarises what happened.
