Featured speakers included staff from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, Land Trust Alliance, and Kennebec Estuary Land Trust. This webinar was targeted specifically for the land trust community and included time for Q&A.
The National Coastal Resilience Fund is administered by National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF), in partnership with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the U.S. Department of Defense, Occidental, Shell and TransRe, and with additional support this year from the Bezos Earth Fund. NFWF will award up $140 million in grants to create and restore natural systems in order to increase protection for communities from coastal hazards, such as storms, sea- and lake-level changes, inundation, and coastal erosion, while improving habitats for fish and wildlife species.
