The event seeks to explore the intersection of social protection and climate resilience, with a focus on building resilience for vulnerable communities, especially women and marginalized groups disproportionately affected by climate change. Through case studies, discussions will focus on and showcase social protection's role in responding to climate shocks and nurturing resilient communities as well as highlight the role of state and non-state actors in integrating social protection into national, regional, and global climate policies.
