At Trade Institution of Victoria (TIV), we have always support women taking up trades. We feel women have a lot to offer to the construction industry, and in turn, the construction industry have a lot to offer them.
We have introduced a Trades Women course where women can attain their CPC40120 - Certificate IV in Building and Construction. This course has the same content and expectations as our regular Certificate IV course, but allows women to have the added support of studying with other women, who understand the unique challenges faced.
