Yawar Shafi, Kashmir: Kashmir Valley’s upper reaches received season’s first and fresh snowfall leading to a drop in temperature by few notches.
Sonmarg tourist spot also received fresh snowfall much to the excitement of the tourists.
The upper reaches of the Valley, including the world famous ski resort of Gulmarg received fresh snowfall causing dip in the temperature.
Srinagar and other parts of Valley received overnight. Pertinently, weather department has predicted light to moderate rain/snow till October 10 across Jammu and Kashmir.
