The politics over the Delhi violence has escalated with Congress president Sonia Gandhi claiming that Union Home Minister Amit Shah is "directly responsible" for the violence. She also demanded the resignation of the Home Minister. Hitting back at Congress, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar targeted Sonia Gandhi, saying the government is open to discussion but politics should not be done over the issue.
