By midnight, Pakistan "clarified" that the prisoner being released was actually a Faridkot native named Surjeet Singh, and not Bhikhiwind native Sarabjit. The cruel blow hurt the family, but Sarabjit's gritty sister Dalbir Kaur refused to lose hope.
