Electricity minister Kgosientso Ramokgopa on Wednesday said the termination of the state of disaster will not impair his work.
Ramokgopa said he would still be able to continue with his job unhindered as the public finance management act (PFMA) gives him room to take load-shedding head-on.
This was one of the things that the state of disaster had been earmarked to achieve when it was promulgated.
Ramaokgopa together with the minister and deputy minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Thembi Nkadimeng and Parks Tau briefed the media on Wednesday.
