Welcome to Actuate Labs! In this step-by-step tutorial, you will learn how to bridge a custom token to Binance Chain from Ethereum networkand create a liquidity pool on PancakeSwap. Follow along as we demonstrate using Actuate (ACT) as our custom token and Portal Bridge as the bridging tool.
Prerequisites:
MetaMask wallet
ETH and ACT tokens in the Ethereum network.
BNB on Binance chain
Steps:
1. Bridging ACT Tokens from Ethereum to Binance Chain:
Visit Portal Bridge and connect your MetaMask wallet.
Select Ethereum as the “source” network and BNB Chain as the “target” chain.
Choose ACT or add the contract address and input the bridging amount.
Confirm the transaction on MetaMask.
Switch networks as required.
Check your Binance Chain wallet for the bridged ACT tokens.
Redeem the tokens from Portal Bridge to the Binance Chain.
2. Creating a Liquidity Pool in PancakeSwap:
Go to PancakeSwap and connect your MetaMask wallet.
Click on “Liquidity” and then “Add Liquidity”.
Select ACT as the first token and input the amount you want to provide.
Choose BNB as the second token, ensuring the ACT to BNB ratio matches the current market price (1 ACT = $1).
Confirm the transaction on your Binance Chain wallet.
Check your PancakeSwap account for the LP tokens.
