Dr. Jiří Socha, Head of Automotive at TÜV SÜD Czech, introduces the TÜV SÜD passive safety testing laboratory in Mlada Boleslav for various automotive components like seats, head restraints, dashboards or steering wheels. The passive safety tests can be already conducted during the development process. The testing facilities are able to test with regard to various ECE regulations and offer multiple strength tests and airbag test. Finally, he explains how the laboratory will be further developed according to future trends.
