This fifth installment in the series (only the fourth time Michael was the storyline) was released to theaters October 13, 1989. Once again, Trancas Films produced the picture with the surname Magnum Pictures. In its box office run, it brought in almost $12 million total in the U.S. on a budget of less than $5 million.
