Ned Kehde originally developed and fine-tuned the Ned Rig, or Midwest Finesse Rig, by cutting a Z-Man ZinkerZ in half… I used this as an inspiration and took it a step further. I tied on a 1/32oz jighead and cut a Finesse TRD in half, creating what I call the “Micro Ned Rig” which I threw on my Ultralight fishing gear. As the Ned Rig gains popularity in the market, is a Micro Ned Rig going to be what it takes to get bit?!
This was a tremendous day of kayak fishing and I will honestly be doing this again. SO MUCH FUN! It not only produced bass, but it was a true multi species fishing rig. If you want to see me throw the Micro Ned Rig again in the future, make sure to let me know in the comments below.
