Talking about chainsaw bar length while cutting free firewood on a friend's farm.
If you've got a full day of cutting firewood, you'll certainly want to spend some time choosing which saws and bar lengths you may need for the job. In today's episode, I'm exclusively cutting small diameter wood, so a short bar can definitely do the job, but there are advantages to using a longer bar, too, even if it seems like overkill.
