'Caring for our Watersheds' is an educational program geared towards Grade 7-12 students, with the mission to instill environmental stewardship among the next generation, and at the same time, improve the quality of the watersheds in our communities. In the CFW program, students are asked to submit a proposal that answers, "What can you do to improve your watershed?" Students must research their local watershed to identify an environmental concern and devise a realistic solution. Designed with the help of Alberta teachers, the program fits within the curriculum guidelines as well as offers students real-life experience in environmental conservation. Outstanding ideas have resulted in cash rewards for the students and Agrium also helped fund students to implement their ideas.
