One sunny September autumn day in the early nineteen-twenties two young Englishmen by the name of David Blackthorn and Eddie Irving along with a swiss mountain guide set out to climb Finsteraarhorn. Finsteraarhorn is the highest mountain sitting at 14,022 feet in the Bernese Alps and the most prominent peak of Switzerland. David and Eddie were extremely close friends who during the climb continued to be concerned about each other's welfare.
