Ahead of independence Day, terrorists hurled a grenade at the residence of BJP leader Jasbir Singh in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday evening. One Child was killed and several others were injured in the attack. J&K LG strongly condemned the attack in Rajouri and expressed condolences the family. "Perpetrators of this heinous act will be brought to justice soon", Office of J&K LG tweeted. Former CM of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti too condemned the grenate attack in Rajouri. "My sympathies with their loved ones", she tweeted. Union MoS DrJitendra Singh tweeted saying, "It's a handiwork of those who have developed vested interest in not allowing democratic & political processes to flourish."
