Baler for plastic MAC 108/2 at work! MAC 108/2 bales all kinds of plastic material, PET, HDPE and aluminium cans.

We designed the second model in our new generation of balers to produce very high-density bales to reach the weight limits permitted in a container.

In this video you can see MAC108/2 baling plastic material in Oppimitti plant, Italy. Large quantities of waste are deposited on the machine's conveyor belt and compressed into bales. Bale format is 110×75 cm to reduce the empty spaces in the cargo vehicles at minimum. Then bales are tied up with plastic or steel wires and stocked and loaded onto the trucks. The Macpresse tying system is designed for tying both plastic and steel wires. This system simplifies the cleaning process for the tying machine, guaranteeing greater safety for the operator.
As you can see, the MAC 108/2 baling press machine is working near by our MAC 112XL, the extra large baler for sorting plants that bales large quantities of recycling materials.

Here the most important features of MAC 180/2 for this plant:
- Bale Dimensions: 1 100 x 750 (dimens. WxH) - 43’’ 1/3 x 29’’1/2
- Baler weight without fluffer: 40 000 Kg (less oil) - 88184 lbs
- Baler weight with fluffer: 45000 Kg (less oil) - 99208 lbs
- Numbers of wires: 4
- Hydraulic unit: soundproofed
- Energy Saving: 30% compared with traditional electric motors

The video also shows the detail of how to use the control panel of the baler for plastic MAC 108/2 and the structure and the most important components of the machine: the feed opening, the 7 cleaning and inspector doors, the main motor power and hydraulic pump, the larger door for better cleaning.

Bale dimensions are optimised as MAC 108/2 produces high density bales with ideal dimensions for the optimum loading of containers and trucks, to make best use of the available volume.
