Being laid off feels awful.
And being left behind after your coworkers have been laid off also feels awful, but in different and complex ways.
Survivor's guilt, #anxiety about what's next, #anger about how the layoffs were handled, loss of #trust in leadership....it's all right there under the surface.
If you're a team leader, you need to know how to talk about what happened, because NOT talking about it will make things even worse.
