THE continuous assessment learning activities (CALA) were under the spotlight as the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education
conducted two-day curriculum review consultation meetings countrywide recently.
The exercise started with players in the education sector conducting their consultations, while external stakeholders, who include parents and guardians, also followed suit.
Stakeholders were invited by the Ministry to visit schools to make contributions and recommendations on curriculum review. Input from captains of industry was captured, while learners also made contributions during the process.
Government was reviewing the competence-based education curriculum, which was introduced in 2015 and its seven-year cycle ended last year
