Ingredients
500 grams jimikand/yam, skin removed, washed and chopped into pieces and soaked in water for 1 hour
juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp salt
1 tsp methi dana/fenugreek seeds
3 tsp saunf/fennel seeds
2 tsp jeera/cumin seeds
1.5 tsp red chilli powder
1.5 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp salt
5 tsp rai/mustard seeds, ground
1 cup sarson ka tel/mustard oil, heated until it smokes then cooled completely
