The Deltang Rx102 receiver is used by many for a variety of purposes. In garden railway locos, it can be used to driver servos on a live steam loco or to drive an ESC in a battery loco. The default outputs from the pins on the receiver are for servos (Pins 1-5) and for directional lighting (Pins 6 and 7). However, any pin can be reprogrammed to provide different outputs in response to signals from any channel on the transmitter. A pin could therefore be reprogrammed to give switch on or to switch off when a button, switch or joystick is operated on the transmitter. This is useful for enabling the transmitter to control accessories such as lighting or to trigger sound effects on a sound card by switching the output from a pin from 3.2v to 0v (ie from high to low).
