President-elect Donald Trump has announced the formation of a new body, unlike anything we've seen before in American governance: the Department of Government Efficiency, abbreviated as DOGE.
According to Trump, DOGE will work outside the federal government. This means Musk and Ramaswamy aren’t official government employees. Instead, they’ll advise the White House, collaborating with the Office of Management and Budget to 'drive large-scale structural reform.'
