The Union Health Ministry has urged the Congress Party to adhere to adequate Covid standards in the Bharat Jodo yatra in light of the mounting coronavirus infections in China. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya asks Rahul Gandhi and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in a letter to make sure that proper Covid rules are being followed. Additionally, Mandaviya said that if the right procedures are not followed, the yatra should be stopped in light of the current 'public health emergency' condition. Congress verbally attacked the federal health minister, saying, "Although people seem to like and join Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra, I believe Mansukh Mandaviya does not. It has been assigned to Mandaviya to deflect public attention ".
