BBC World Young Singers Competition Winner (2011) - Valentina Nafornita, 1) Glück das mir Verlieb from Die tote Stadt by Korngold;
2) Amour, ranime mon courage, Romeo et Juliette by Gounod

Twenty-four-year-old Valentina Nafornita swept the board in Sunday night's final, winning both the 15,000-pound ($24,200) Singer of the World prize and the 2,000-pound audience prize voted by people at the concerts and watching on television ( June 19th, 2011).
