The district authorities of Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Shivamogga, Chikkamangaluru, and Kodagu have declared holidays for schools, while the Indian Meteorological Department has put all the three districts in Coastal #Karnataka on red alert due to incessant rainfall. CM Bommai will be holding a meeting with the concerned officials to assess the rescue and relief operations.
