The use of Justicia gendarussa as a raw material for cellulose bioplastic requires a definite ratio that must be used with an acid-plasticizing solution. This study used dry powder of J. gendarussa which was ripened with NaOH water to remove lignin. The precipitate was then rinsed and filtered to obtain a dry mass and mixed with a chitosan-acetic acid solution. The mixture was printed 20 X 15 for 2 days before the quantitative exam. The quantitative results show that the ratio between 1:1 and 2:1 has the most optimal plastic drying characteristics.
