Pono Burger is another hot burger joint in the LA area of Santa Monica. Hawaiian-born Chef Makani Carzino puts an Island twist on her burger creations, and they are amazing! In this video, I'm cooking up the Spicy Kuawa Crunch Burger on the El Patron by LSG [ Ссылка ].
Spicy Guava Sauce Recipe:
1 cup dark rum
1 1/2 cup guava nectar
1/ teaspoon allspice
1 white pepper
Boil above ingredients for 2-3 minutes, then add:
1/4 teaspoon red Thai curry paste
2 tablespoons minced onion
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons minced serrano pepper
1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon crushed (canned) tomato
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup guava paste
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon brown sugar
Bring to a boil, then simmer until reduced to about 1 1/2 cup, then add salt to taste.
Cole Slaw Recipe:
1 small purple cabbage (shredded)
1 medium carrot (shredded)
1 tablespoon chopped Italian parsley
For Dressing Mix Together:
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Pepper to taste
Seasoning Blend For Burger and Chips:
1/4 cup sea salt
1 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
