Bettering a roadway in the ‘Land of Coconuts’ | MEIL Transport

#Kerala, the coastal state, is one of India’s most sought-after tourist destinations. Millions of #tourists flock here to enjoy the unspoiled tropical beauty, lush green hill stations, tranquil backwaters and exotic wildlife. Aiming to boost tourism in Kerala and provide a pleasant journey experience for tourists, it is essential to upgrade the existing #roadways in the state. #MEILians are executing the #Neeleshwaram - #Thaliparambha road project, a Hybrid Annuity Model under Bharatamala Pariyojana. It is a six-lane road project that connects to the national highway- 66, one of the longest highways in Kerala. Currently, civil works for three major #bridges are going on. Once we finish the makeover, this stretch will offer a smooth and comfortable #journey experience.

Transportation plays a vital role in everyday’s life. For smoother commutation, it is prerequisite to have the proper infrastructure in place. MEIL is the front runner in creating transport infrastructure. MEIL constructed several highways including Hyderabad-Karim Nagar Highway. MEIL is involved in the construction Super Communication Highway between Nagpur – Mumbai. MEIL is also working with chardham in laying of railway lines in the country.
