Weatherford is located 30 miles west of Fort Worth, Texas. It's got a population of over 30k people and a rich history with a western and pioneer heritage. There's a strong community and family feel in the town with a giant Parker County Courthouse building that greets you when you drive into town. The historic downtown area is difficult to walk around in because of the density of traffic, but you can catch some coffee, restaurants, antiques, furniture, hardware, bakeries and even a vintage care museum. Live music venues that are right there on the square include Edgewise Eight Brewing, Northside Remedy, Fire Oak Grill, Downtown Cantina, and Shep's. I also took a walk around the floating boardwalk on lake weatherford, then made my way to Dublin for my gig at Lucky Vines Vineyard and Winery. Good Times.
