This year marks the 50th anniversary for the grandfather of the modern video game console. @atari To celebrate they sent me this amazing set. When I opened it up I was blown away. The rush of nostalgia was overwhelming. This here is a remake of the 1986 classic console The Atari 7800. Now the 7800+. Smaller, with HDMI out and USB C power. Comes with wireless game pads (the UK game pads) but is compatible with the original NA game stick and the ENTIRE 2600 and 7800 cartridge library. So if you happen to have an existing collection of game this is for you. Atari is also releasing brand new sequels of some of their classics like Cristal Castles and Bounty Bob on 7800 carts! I really love that companies are starting to reissue their classic games and give us new updated consoles to play our game libraries on. This is a very big step for game preservation.
