Keema Aloo (Mince & Potato) Recipe
- 500g Lamb Mince
- 600g Potatoes (Quartered)
- 2 Medium Onions (finely diced)
- 4 Tomatoes (diced)
- 1/2 tablespoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Garlic & Ginger Paste
- 1 tablespoon each: Ground Cumin, Ground Coriander, Garam Masala, Ground Turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 500ml Water
- Coriander to garnish
Method
- In a pan on medium heat, add the oil and mince and cook until brown.
- Stir in the onions, and cook until soft and translucent.
- Stir in the garlic and ginger paste, and add the salt and spices.
- Add the tomatoes to the pan, stirring regularly, and cook for 5 minutes or until soft.
- Add water. Bring pan to the boil. Turn heat down to low and cover pan with lid to allow the curry to cook on low heat for 25 minutes .Garnish with chopped coriander.
- Serve with rice, chappati or naan :)
